Well, my 1st tutorial on dA! I got this idea when searching information on HDR photography. The method here explained works fine as you can see on my deviations bellow, despite the noisy looks.
It describes a cheap way to enter HDR, even if you don´t have a digital SLR or a compact camera with bracketed exposures. You will need a single JPEG (better if it´s RAW) photo, Photomatix Pro 3 and Photoshop to follow this tutorial. Have fun!
PS.: if any error, contact me! PS2.: this is not the correct way to make high dynamic range, this is just a simulation of what HDR merging is. it´s an attempt to get those old photos of yours and put new clothes on then! PS3.: as you can see by my deviations, this method isn´t good to recover under-exposed areas of a photo. but still enhances some parts and they look great!
Thanks for making this tutorial!!!
Really, a lot of thanks
I'm going to give this a try
